Woodinville Wine Country Tours To Suit Every Taste

 

British Motor Coach, best known for its charming and beautiful vintage English fleet, has provided superior transportation service to brides and grooms as well as numerous corporate and private clients since 1987. With the same passion for excellence and superior service, we now provide escorted personalized tours throughout the Woodinville Wine Country.

Washington State is the second largest wine growing region in the U.S. Located just 25 minutes northeast of downtown Seattle, the city of Woodinville combines small town charm with some of the highest rated wineries in Washington and is home to more than 70 wineries and tasting rooms.

All of our tours typically run approximately 5 hours, departing from your Seattle or Bellevue area location at about 11:30am, returning about 4:30pm. The wineries are usually open between 12:00pm and 5:00pm.

More than just wine tasting, our tours are conducted by our professional and knowledgeable chauffeurs and can include behind the scenes visits, a glimpse into winemaking production, and opportunities to meet the winemakers. Our experienced guides will make your day in wine country a very special one to long remember.

 

Here is just a sample of the many wine tasting options we currently offer:

THE CONOISSEUR TOUR (Our most exclusive):

Usually limited to three wineries, each with your own private docent for 60-90 minutes. All take place in private tasting rooms.  This tour is designed for the sophisticated and knowledgeable wine drinker. It will take you behind the scenes of some of the highest award-winning wineries including Wine Spectator’s 2010 “Winery of the Year”. Experience the wine making process in private where public access is limited or non-existent. And enjoy the finest quality library, reserve and premium wines each winery has to offer, many of which have achieved world class status in recent years.

THE AFFICIANADO TOUR:

Among our most popular, this tour is designed for those who want a broader experience and a visit to more (five-six) of the top wineries with a little less depth than the Connoisseur Tour. You will still visit some of the finest wineries as well as some of the younger up and coming boutique wineries, tour a production facility (when available), have lunch within a barrel room, and enjoy some of the top wines produced in Washington in a semi-private to small public setting.

THE ENTHUSIAST TOUR:

This is recommended for private groups and includes a limited public tour. You will visit five to six wineries with an escorted tour guide and experience an additional educational wine (101) component. Because these tours are designed to have lots of flexibility, all wine tasting fees will be collected by the winery rather than in advance for the above tours. A lunch stop can be pre-arranged and is highly recommended.

These are just a few of the options that our wine tours can offer for corporate clients, small groups, or a couple looking for a romantic getaway.

We can sometimes honor last minute requests but we prefer that reservations be made at least 7 days in advance mostly as a courtesy to the wineries.

Pricing will vary according to both the vehicle and the tour chosen, and whether tasting fees are included in advance or charged at the wineries.

Our British Motor Coach fleet includes some of the finest vintage Rolls-Royces, Bentleys, and other English classics from the  50’s and 60’s as well as modern Lincoln Executive L Town Cars, 8/10 passenger stretch limousines, SUVs and Corporate Vans.

A vintage Rolls Royce, Bentley, et al, for parties of 2:          $500.00

Lincoln Town Car for parties of 2-3:                                  $350.00

Vintage Princess or Daimler for parties of up to 4:               $500.00

SUV’s for parties of 4-6:                                                   $450.00

Lincoln stretch limousines for parties of 8-10                      $500.00

Corporate vans for groups up to 8-10:                                $450.00
